CLIENT'S RESPONSIBILITIES Cancellations. If the Client needs to cancel a tutoring session, they must provide timely notice to MathPal.us by sending a message to info@mathpal.us, calling or texting the assigned tutor, or contacting our customer service phone line. This notice should occur at least twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled class start time. It is important to note that MathPal.us operates on a monthly subscription basis, not packages of hours. Proprietary Information. The Client acknowledges that all materials, documents, work product, and techniques used by MathPal.us are proprietary. The Client is not authorized to make copies or distribute these materials without prior written consent from MathPal.us. Client Preparation. The Client is expected to come prepared for tutoring sessions and bring relevant class materials. The Client acknowledges their responsibility for their commitment and success in the tutoring, and MathPal.us is not liable for any lack of Client dedication or success. The client must use a computer or table for classes and the use of the platform, if appliable. Class Recording Authorization. The Client, as the parent or legal guardian, hereby grants MathPal.us the authorization to record online tutoring sessions between the designated tutor and the student (the child or protected child). These recordings will be made to either ensure the quality of the tutoring services provided or for any other business purpose that MathPal.us designates as necessary. PAYMENTS; REFUNDS Payment Obligation. The Client agrees to make payments to MathPal.us for the Services as stipulated in the applicable pricing plan, available on the MathPal.us website or as mutually agreed upon in writing. Refunds. If the Client is dissatisfied with the Services, MathPal.us will collaborate with the Client to address any concerns, which may involve tutor replacement or other reasonable resolutions. The Client acknowledges and agrees that payments made to MathPal.us are nonrefundable. Any unused tutoring hours will expire within thirty (30) days of the end of the client's billing cycle.
